SANAMI is a Non-Profit Company (NPC) established with the aim of stimulating the economy and employment opportunities in the Agro – Manufacturing Sector within the Alfred Nzo District Municipality through business incubation and technology demonstration.
SANAMI is looking to appoint a vibrant, passionate, motivated and dynamic individual, with suitable experience and qualifications, to fill the following position at the Centre:
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER X 2
Reporting to the Centre Manager
(Mount Ayliff)
Requirements
Minimum Education:
A relevant degree in Business Development, Commerce, Entrepreneurship or Equivalent
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in enterprise development / rural development.
Practical experience in business incubation and business development will be an added advantage
Additional Requirements:
Excellent computer literacy skills; good communication skills in both verbal and written English; proven experience in the business development arena; proven experience in the development and implementation of training programmes; strong networking and facilitation/presentation skills. A valid driver’s licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
The implementation of the SANAMI business plan; Identify new clients for the centre through embarking on an effective recruitment campaign of incubatees; determine development needs and provide advisory services to existing and potential small enterprises involved in the agriculture and agro-manufacturing sector; negotiate contracts and key performance indicators with incubatees; develop and implement effective training programmes relevant to the incubatees. Coach and mentor incubatees and assist them to negotiate contracts with their customers.
